Indications for Use

For use in assisted reproductive procedures that require protein supplementation. These procedures include in vitro fertilization, embryo culture and growth, and embryo cryopreservation.

Storage and Shelf Life

Store at 2-8°C and protected from light. One (1) year from the date of manufacture. Do not use the product for longer than 30 days after opening the container. Disposal Consideration Treat or dispose of waste material in accordance with all local state/provincial, and national requirements. Dispose with laboratory waste.

Composition

LifeGlobal® Protein Supplement contains a total protein concentration of 50 mg/ml, comprising 44 mg/ml human serum albumin and 6 mg/ml human α- and β-globulins from therapeutic-grade source material, in a sterile saline solution.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Twenty-four (24) hours prior to the use of media for embryo culture or handling, supplement the media with LifeGlobal® Protein Supplement as follows:

1. For oocyte/embryo retrieval, handling, fertilization and culture media, and sperm handling media, mix 9.0 ml of medium with 1.0 ml of LifeGlobal® Protein Supplement in an appropriate embryo-safe tube or other container. This will produce a final total protein concentration of 5 mg/ml in the supplemented medium.
